Biography

Roberto Turnbull.

 

Sculptor, printmaker, illustrator and painter. Roberto Turnbull was born in Mexico City in 1959. His education began at the age of 18 years at the School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving “La Esmeralda”. His first solo exhibition was held in 1983 at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Since then they have dedicated exhibitions at the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, room Siqueiros Public Art, Museum of Modern Art, Museo de la Estampa and galleries such as OMR, Kahlo Gallery Coronel, A.Negra Gallery, Gallery of Contemporary Art , Nina Menocal Gallery, Gallery Florencia Riestra. And inside the republic at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Oaxaca, Museum of Arts from the University of Guadalajara, University of Guanajuato, Ex Convent del Carmen, Manolo Rivero Gallery, Merida, Yucatan.
