Gustavo Artigas

Born in Mexico City on April 27, 1970 Lives in Mexico City. He has participated in the Biennial of the Americas in 2013, Yekaterinburg, Russia in 2011, Architecture Triennial in Lisbon 2006, Liverpool 2004, Havana 2000, Prague 2003, Argentina 2003 and Aperto of the Venice Biennale in 2001inSITE 2000 among others.

His work is part of the Jumex, Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, Denver Addison Collection Collection. Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art.

For six years he develops research on risks of art (in relation to the materials and techniques used). Similarly his recent work is an analysis of color and space depending on experience.

Some of the emblematic works of Artigas related recreational structures with disaster by creating interfaces to be developed by viewers or specific human groups. generally presented in the form of events or actions address issues such as social stress and behavior to unusual or extreme situations.
